I am a non-binary lesbian, mixed raced. Originally french from reunion island, I studied at Central St Martin and lived for many years in London. My initial studies were in creative writing and cinema. I have always been a dreamer and found shelter from reality in books and stories. I loved to write and create scenarios. I felt into photography by pure coincidence when in Paris I had the chance to assist one of the most famous fashion photographer called Paolo Roversi. His dreamy creations were made from a script, an image frozen from a movie. I like to see the world through images, from a different perspective. I worked for many years as advertising portrait photographer for magazines, fashion and advertising campaigns. But where I felt whole and truly passionate is during my one-on-one portraiture session. I am quite reserved and introvert, so I always feel more comfortable in small setup where I can have a discussion or being in a position of an observer. I love to capture expressions and emotions particularly conveyed by the eyes. Only recently, I went back to writing and I am now mixing portraiture with some journaling, telling inspiring stories about amazing people.
